Spring sessions are in full swing and I got to start the season off with this sweet girl, Abby! Abby is a senior at Central High School and I can't wait to share why I admire this young lady SO much!
Abby is originally from Texas and her family moved here just as she was starting her senior year! It's hard moving to a new place, let alone moving right before your senior year. To hear how this new change didn't phase Abby at all, but instead made her excited made me think, "I want to be more like Abby when trying new things!" Sometimes stepping out of our comfort zone opens the door to new and exciting possibilities. I am so honored to have gotten to know her and I can't wait to see what all she conquers in her future!
Abby, moved here to TN and has absolutely fallen in love with our beautiful Vol state! She is excited to be attending the University of Tennessee and I loved how she incorporated that into her senior session. Not only did she incorporate her university of choice, but also showed off her school spirit for her high school!
We started Abby's session at Central High School, where she rocked her school color, red, with a cute pair of jeans. We walked around the school and included the entrance sign, bleachers, and the football field. These are excellent spots to showcase your favorite spots from your senior year. Looking back at your photos you will remember walking into your "last first day" of school through the entrance doors, hanging out with your friends, and cheering on your school's football team in the stands on Friday nights. Perfect walk down memory lane in years to come!
Our next location, Abby chose a green field where she wore a show stopping hot pink dress and her white graduation dress with her cap and gown. Since this was a spring session, Abby wanted to incorporate some flowers, but unfortunately since it was so early in the spring, we are still waiting on those blooms to pop. No stress though because just like Abby did, you can bring a bouquet of flowers to your session for us to use as a prop! There are so many places in Knoxville you can get your hands on a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, but I love how Abby and her mom chose to go local and visit Cultivate Coffee + Flowers to have them create a bouquet that would match her outfits the best! Such a great idea!
Take advantage of your senior photos and use this opportunity to announce your dream school you are attending! You can wear your school's colors or even have one of your outfit choices be a T-shirt of the college you will be attending. If you don't want to use an outfit for this, bringing simple props can do just the trick as well! Abby brought a college pennant and pom poms to announce where she will be attending and these photos turned out so cute!
